Buying a home is a time-consuming, yet exciting, journey. From searching for just the right home, scheduling showings, making the offer, arranging for inspections and completing the contract – I’m here to help you every step of the way.

There are a few things that you can do, too, to make the process go smoothly:

  1. Get pre-approved by your lender
This is an important step. When you get pre-approved for a loan, you’ll save time because you’ll know exactly what homes are in your budget. A bonus of pre-approval is that you give the sellers a greater degree of confidence that you’re a serious buyer. And in areas where houses are in great demand – like San Antonio – that’s a plus. You’ll also have a better idea of how much you might expect to pay in closing costs, which will help you start preparing.
  2. Decide what you really want
Finding your perfect home can be a challenge. But if you’re realistic about your expectations, you won’t be disappointed. Take some time to think through what you really want and create your list of priorities. Then let’s review your list together so that I have a full and complete understanding of what you’d like to have. That will help me zero in on just the right properties to show you.
  3. Keeping an eye out for you
As a certified Realtor, I’m plugged into the San Antonio’s housing market and I’m always on the lookout for homes on your behalf. Along with constantly searching our Multiple Listing Service (MLS), I’m also aware of new listings before they are publicly posted. These are among the many benefits of being a certified Realtor vs. a general real estate agent.
  4. We’ll need to move quickly
Once we find your dream house, we need to take action. Real estate is tricky, and timing can be everything. Even a verbal acceptance of a contract means nothing unless there’s a signature. So when we find what you’re looking for, it’s important for you to be available so that we can act quickly and get you the keys to your new home!
