If you think our 103-degree heat is hot – San Antonio home sales are absolutely sizzling! More and more people are continuing to move here, especially from Dallas and Houston. We are in definite need of “inventory.” If you’re on the fence about selling your home, hop on over. The market is surprisingly strong right now.

We sold 4,231 homes in July – a 25 percent increase over this time last year, according to our friends at the San Antonio Board of Realtors. Compared to July 2019, our average home price has increased by 10 percent.

In fact, let’s take a moment to compare where we are today with where we were at the beginning of the year:

If you compare this chart with my same one from last month’s newsletter, you’ll see prices are continuing to increase, more people are buying more expensive homes – and sales are faster than ever.

I’m happy to report that my listing at 226 Grassmarket in Roseheart sold quickly. This was the second transaction I did with my clients – it went just as smoothly as the first.

Looking to buy? For you developer entrepreneurs, I have 10,069 acres zoned for commercial and residential at 5319 Crestway Drive in fast-growing Windcrest. And for you cowboys and cowgirls, the 740-acre DD Ranch outside of Boerne can still be yours, also zoned for commercial and residential.

And, I have 908 Tuxedo Ave. in the lovely Alamo Heights neighborhood, with a price improvement: $949,000. Come see it today, 3-5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30. Details below!

While COVID-19 is still very much a part of our lives, we’re finding that we can show – and sell – properties quite safely. I’m always available to you if you’d like a conversation or a consultation. Please call me at 210.722.3483 anytime. I don’t want you to miss out on this incredible market!
